SOSIS

Sosis Is a super friendly female street dog that was rescued after police threatened to remove her from her local spot outside a cafe-restaurant in Fethiye.

Police gave the restaurant owners 2 days to either adopt her or have her moved on. The owners said they did not want to put Sosis in a shelter where she would likely be killed so they agreed to cover the vet and food costs and help to find her a new safe home.

Sosis was rescued in August 2025 but the restaurant owners failed to provide for her costs. Each month there was always an excuse as to why they couldn’t. All contact was terminated in May 2026.
